Hi loves! Today I’ll be sharing some of my Valentine’s Day inspiration from outfits, gift ideas to some date ideas. I think a lot of people are going to be approaching this holiday a little different this year but that doesn’t mean you can’t be creative. Valentine’s Day is all about love and being around your special someone so spoil them. The best part is it falls on a Sunday so you literally have that weekend to make super memorable.
If you don’t have that special someone (like me) then spend it having a great night with yourself (self care sunday for a reason hunnaay) or grab your other singles friends and have a little dinner together. All while following your states protocols as well. I’ll be linking my outfit ideas and beauty faves so you can easily shop my looks. Gift Ideas
Shopping for women can be extremely difficult from what brands do they like to jewelry, clothes, shoes. Whoa! A ton of places to go but where do I start? My Valentine’s Day inspiration guide has you covered. I honestly think the best gifts are an everyday, classic, timeless piece of jewelry she can cherish. If your girl love gold simple pieces start there. I would advise to stay away from clothes because we women are super picky on how it has to fit, look and feel and if you don’t get it right it can cause an issue rather than love.
You can never go wrong with flowers, but don’t just run to the grocery store and buy them. Order them online to customize them or buy one of those animal shaped flowers. Depending on how long you’ve been together maybe you know her a little more personally like what her favorite perfume is or she’s a beauty guru? Maybe she’s a fashionista but also love her apple watch, check out some different apple watch bands. I also linked a very classic timeless photo frame, because you’re more romantic and want to show her how much she means to you by placing your favorite photo of you two in the frame. Below are more gifts but these are under $100. At the end of day, just remember its truly the thought that counts and spending the day/night with you all she really cares about.
Date Ideas
Due to this pandemic, a lot of Valentine’s Day inspiration is going to be needed. I would first check out your favorite restaurants, many have reopened depending on your state, and make a reservation. If you don’t want to go out, then order in. Turn your home into the perfect Valentine’s Day date night. If you have balcony, eat outside, or make your table into a fancy restaurant. Get a table cloth, napkins all from your local home goods or Walmart, add some flowers and candles and bam!
Don’t worry about making dinner because you can order your food from your favorite place and either pick it up or get it delivered. Another cute idea depending on where you live is a picnic on the beach or in the park. Make sure you check what time is sunset so you’re not out there in the dark but something simple, romantic and fun. Don’t let the pandemic stop you from having a great time together just plan a different date and it’ll probably be a more memorable one.
Outfit Ideas
My favorite thing about this Valentine’s day inspiration guide is all the clothes. I love seeing Pinterest broads, Instagram photos, blogs, ideas on liketoknow.it to see what cute ideas everything has. Depending on your date you could go the route of a simple, little bit sexy red dress with a pair of pumps. Maybe you want to take it up a notch and be a bit more bold, a pair of jeans and a mesh bodysuit will do the trick. Maybe you’re the girl who loves a comfy, business casual fit but pair it with some bold heels and a full face of makeup.
Play around with your style but dress up! It’s a special night to show the other how much you appreciate them, don’t go in your regular date night outfits. Spice it up and change it up, even for you men too. Wear a different cologne or accessorize differently, trust me your girl will notice.
Valentine’s Day inspiration can come from anywhere and now more than ever should you be extra creative with your plans. Spend the weekend enjoying each other’s company, showering each other with love and affection.
