Hi loves! Here it is the roaring 20’s! A new year new goals to make! I’m super excited for the start of not only the new year but the new decade. Every year, many Americans take this time to change to fix something they’ve been wanting to change for a while. New Year new goals to make. New Year new me to start out with. Sound familiar? New Year’s is used as a rebirth. We’re allowed an okay year, but next year I’m changing it.
They say it’s always good to look back and reflect on the past year to see the changes you can make going forward. Looking back on my new year resolutions from last year, I realized I accomplished 6 out of 9 resolutions. Some may say that’s a fail, but really, it’s a win to me. So, let’s set our 2020 resolutions and you have 363 days left to crush them.
2020 Resolutions
- Consistently go to the gym (due to health reasons, I gained weight and I need to lose it)
- Change my DIET! More clean eating, instead of just not thinking of my meals and eating whatever.
- Work on my mental health by meditating or even yoga/taking a walk
- Switch my career path
- Start a PODCAST!
- Take another INCREDIBLE girl’s trip!
- Grow in my relationships with my family and friends
- Be more open minded about everything
- SAVE! CASH MANGEMENT! BUDGET!
- Continue to work on my BLOG and grow it more.
How To Stick To Your Resolutions
Now you made your new year resolutions, but how do you actually accomplish them? Accountability like using apps like MyFitnessPal to track workouts and meals. Set smaller goals throughout the year. For example, for our podcast the first thing is to get the equipment, set up the social media, and the name. Start small to get to the big picture.
For other resolutions you just have to try to hold yourself accountable. Some new year resolutions involve just a personal change on the inside, so you have to just want the change. I truly believe in manifesting. Say it into existence and it’ll happen.
Start Right Away
Don’t wait to start working on your resolutions. Today is DAY TWO and you ONLY have 363 days left to make your changes and goals come into fruition. Life’s WAY TOO SHORT to not live out the moments and goals you want to have. Last year I made it a point to live in the moment.
I realized for me that meant being willing to go on the flight, spend that cash, go out that night, go out to dinner with the girls. I didn’t want to lose a moment because I was tired, not feeling well, or not in the mood. You never know what will happen so live life EVERYDAY TO THE FULLEST!
New Year New Goals To Make
In the end, new year resolutions are made as guides for your new year. It’s a goal we set for ourselves. Some are easily attainable; others require more attention. Just hold yourself accountable, get apps to help you, set smaller goals to accomplish the big ones, and lastly manifest your goals. You can truly accomplish your resolutions, don’t give up on yourself! Go for it and let’s start the new decade out right. Our new year new goals to make are written now let’s GO!
It’s the roaring 20’s. Remember the last roaring 20’s was progressive and full of change and adversity. Prohibition laws help create speakeasy’s across the country, woman were granted the right to vote, and other social and cultural changes happened. Maybe these roaring twenties we’ll see more change and love. Start with yourself and grow from there. Set your goals and let’s make them happen.
