Summer Fashion Finds For The Trendy Girl

Hi loves! Today, I’ll be sharing all my favorite summer fashion finds. It’s officially summer and if you’re in the Florida, you’re really feeling the heat and humidity. I picked these style to be cool and as stylish as can be during the heat. There are times we tend to choose comfort and feeling cool that we actually forgot our style. But should we have too? I’m here to show you my favorite designers and styles just in time for summer. 

First, I would like to say I’m a size medium for almost everything. I’m a size 4 in pants and a 36 bust so normally a medium or large in tops depending on the type. I did pay for everything in my list but just sharing my favorite summer fashion finds. Here we go:

Dresses

I bought two pieces from Kittenish: one was a short summer dress and the other was a wrap dress. I’m going to be honest in my review. I bought a size medium in the first dress it didn’t zip all the way when the sizing chart showed my size to be a medium.

The wrap dress was the same my bust didn’t fit at all, forcing me to put a sports bra underneath to make it work. I feel their clothing runs small so size up. If you’re shopping Kittenish, just make sure to follow the size chart and then size up.

Summer Fashion finds continues to Forever XXI. They have cute and super affordable dresses for the summer. I absolutely love their t-shirt dress and tank dresses. You can also add a cute flannel or jean shirt around your waist to add some shape.

Also adding either a cute pump, heel, or sneakers can truly transform your outfit from summer day look to a night out. I get a medium on all style at Forever XXI. New York & Co. has cute summer dresses as well that are super casual to explore a new city or more formal ones too. I tend to hem their dresses to make them shorter to fit my height.

Another great summer dress store is the Boutique. I bought a cute strip dress for my summer cruise series and a white lace dress for more formal events during the day. Both sizes are a medium and fit a bit big, but I’m not quite a small because those are too tight and show everything. With dresses, I love that I can feel fresh and cool all day long without compromising my style.

Shorts

The Boutique is a trendy shop in Miami that always has the chicest, hottest clothes and Fashion Nova, enough said. I love their body suits and dresses and both their sizing is true to size. The shorts are from the boutique and a size medium and the Fashion Nova bodysuit is a medium as well.

They are super comfortable and such a steal for the price. Plus, both online stores are always having flash sales and deals to save more money. You can style this look super edgy and high fashion with heels and a blazer or dress it down with your hair up and some Adidas. 

I love a good pair of white shorts and jean shorts as well. Both shorts can be easily dresses up with the right top and shoes or down. I love wearing shorts during the summer because its HOT! Plus, I love wearing a heel and short combo because it shows off my toned legs and makes me appear taller than I am.

Shorts create a longer leg and can be either dressed up or super cute and casual. Here are some other ways to wear your short combos.

Pants

There are those days where you might want to wear a good pair of pants instead of a dress or short. I definitely don’t recommend wearing jeans because they can make you feel hotter and also they are skin tight so all that heat isn’t great for your skin. You need to breathe.

I love these pair from Forever XXI, they are high waisted, sleek and breathable. They come in different colors and bottom styles but you have to find the pair for your body type. These pants are super breathable but don’t compromised on style and I can pair it with a crop top/shirt or even a bra top. You can add a pair of heels or wedges to add a bit of style to it as well. 

Summer Fashion Fun

So getting ready for those fun, hot summer days and nights get inspired by these looks. Obviously, Jessica Simpson is my favorite designer when it comes to shoes. She has such a unique style and so many fun options.
