Hi loves! Today, I’ll be sharing with you a weekend in West Palm Beach, FL. Now I didn’t necessary grow up here, but did live here since I was 13 years old. So I think of it as my hometown. A lot of people consistently travel to Florida for vacations, bachelor or bachelorette parties, getaways, etc. Clematis Street is the staple here in West Palm Beach, Florida.
It has slowly continued to get better and bigger. They are remodeling the street, so there is some construction but doesn’t hinder anything. It’s best to always Uber because you shouldn’t drink and drive, but if you are driving there is plenty of street parking and also a lot of garages.
This list is some of my favorite places to go for a drink, food or just a night of dancing. Besides going to the beach, bike riding into Palm Beach Island, or even taking the boat out on the ocean. This list is just for places to eat, my favorite bars and clubs, and the day entertainment that happens. So here’s my list:
Restaurants:
- Kabuki: Thai Food (a staple for our girl’s night and you have to take a Saki bomb here) TRUST ME!
- Rocco’s Tacos: Mexican Food (Taco Tuesday’s are the best here and their margarita’s, let’s just say one drink and you’ll be good. Best margarita’s around and an amazing tequila bar)
- West Palm Beach Brewery: Pizza Oven style and beer (Super cute outdoor area w/ games and tables for big groups)
- Lynora’s: American/Italian (Brunch Spot on Sunday’s- unlimited mimosas, enough said.)
- Duffy’s: Classic American and all day 2 for 1 drinks. (Best spot to watch any game)
- Nico’s: New York style PIZZA (plus it’s the ONLY place open late after you hit the town)
- Avocado Grill: Seafood but good clean healthy food, love their ambiance too. Chic, sophisticated and super nice for a date night.
Night Scene:
- O’Shea’s Bar: (Music, live music, darts, and a cute outdoors space to chill)
- Roxy’s: Bar on the downstairs level and a rooftop club (Top Hits Music)
- Pawnshop: Urban Nightclub one of the favorites and always packed
- 123 Datura: Friday nights ONLY, a great DJ is always playing all the hits and throwbacks
- Banko Cantina: 3 floors of party, normally the rooftop is best with a huge outdoor bar
- Camelot: Upscale lounge and semi-private with memberships, but inside it’s a small space and not as crowded
Entertainment:
City Place about a 10-minute walk from Clematis has more restaurants and bars as well. The hotspot here is probably Mojito’s; a Latin spice restaurant turns into a nightclub to all the top Spanish songs. Their mojitos are also one of the best! You have a movie theater and there is an outdoor area where some type of performance is usually occurring.
There is also some event happening downtown. During the first week of May, we had SunFest happening. So many great performances and three stages along the intercostal to hear your favorite artists. Not every week do we have a huge music festival, but there are usually a festival or event happening during the day too. Just head on over to visit the Palm Beaches to see our calendar.
Visit West Palm Beach:
So I hope if you’re coming to West Palm Beach, you’re ready to have some fun, eat some good food, and party all night long. Downtown Clematis is literally 10 minutes from Palm Beach International and there are plenty of hotels and Airbnb’s to stay while here. Worth Ave, which is our version of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills is just as stunning and there’s plenty of shopping to do. I’ve visited Los Angeles recently and you can check out my travel guide here. West Palm Beach is a beautiful city with many things to do. Enjoy your vacation and see you soon.
XOXO
Karen Giuliana
