Hi loves! Beauty favorites? Which products should you invest in or skip? I’m going to start sharing some of my favorite things I’ve purchased or received that I’m absolutely in love with. To start of this new segment, I’m sharing my beauty favorites and must haves. As you may know, I get a monthly BoxyCharm box and do test all the products out and keep some and share the rest I don’t particularly need. I also love trying new products my favorite makeup artists @makeupxka and @melissahurkman recommend. I’ll link everything as I go, so let’s get started!
First, a little life update! It’s officially the BEST MONTH OF THE ENTIRE YEAR! September is always a great month for me, because with getting a year older I love reflecting on my past year what I can grow from and what I can change. It’s a month where I truly embrace the growth and change happening and also when I feel my most inspired. So make sure you head over to my Youtube channel and subscribe because I’m planning on finally starting it and go live October 1st.
I have a family vacation coming up for a wedding, but a lot of my family from Peru is flying into New Jersey and Jack (our cocker spaniel) is coming with us for the 2 weeks. I’ll be vlogging for sure the travel chronicles. But a moment to get away from my 9-5 job and just film videos, work on my content, is what I’m craving. So let’s dive into my beauty favorites now, okay!
Quick disclaimer: I linked items through LIKEtoKNOW.it where I do make a commission off your purchase at no extra charge to you if you decide to buy a product!
Skincare:
- First Aid Beauty Gentle Cleanser
- Zo Skincare Products
- Mapillum Eye Cream
- Kylie Skin Cleansing Face Oil
- Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream
- Olehenriksen Banana Bright Vitamin C Primer
- Laneige Lip Mask
Face:
Ahh, this was tough because I’ve recently changed a lot of my foundations and did a whole revamp/purge of my makeup and bought all new products. But here are my beauty favorites I cant live without at the moment:
Foundations
- Sephora Best Skin Ever in shade 21 P – literally feels like skin and is buildable, love this for workdays – it’s not heavy and very affordable!
- IL Makiage Woke Up Like This in shade 120 – best full coverage foundation PERIODT! Matches so perfectly and doesn’t feel heavy on but last all night for any big event.
- Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk in shade 4.5 – love this for a more sheer glowy, dewy finish
- Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter in shade 4 – I use it as a light base for the areas on my face I want to glow.
Powder Foundation
- Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder in Shade 2 – Medium – great for under eyes and to brighten them.
Concealers and Setting Powder
- My absolute FAVORITE HANDS DOWN – Kylie Cosmetics in shade Gypsum (blends perfectly and doesn’t crease at all for me)
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Magic Touch Concealer in shade 6 – a lot of product for price, blends nicely as well.
- CULT FAVORITE – LAURA MERCIER TRANSULCENT POWDER (NOTHING ELSE)
Cream Contour
- Makeup by Mario Soft Sculpt Shaping Stick in shade medium – my favorite, blends incredibly, very pigmented.
- Elaluz Stick Bronzer in shade Super Yummy Natural – I LOVE this product, the shape of the product makes cream contouring so easy! The pigment is great, blends well as well.
- Charlotte Tilbury Contour Wand in shade Fair/Medium – love this but use it with a brush the wand is a bit hard for me personally and make sure you always lock it!
Powder Contour
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit – best one for powder contour (if you’re new to contouring, I would highly recommend starting with this palette before you head into creams.)
Cream Blush
- Floss Beauty in shade Sandals – a more pink cream blush
- Iconic London Sheer Blush in shade Fresh Faced – love this for a more glow look
- Rare Beauty Melting Blush in shade Nearly Mauve – my favorite blends like a dream (matte)
Liquid Highlighter
- Easy only liquid highlighter I’ve used and love is Iconic London Illuminator in shade Blush, you’ll be glowing to the Gods hunaayyyy.
Powder Highlighter
- Touch In SOL Pretty Face Glowdient Palette
Setting Sprays
I’m true to my favorites the Urban Decay All Nighter and I like the Morphe Continuous Setting Mist as well. I’m hearing a lot of great thing about the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray as well so going to be grabbing at one and reviewing it.
Eyes:
These palettes are my favorites of the moment! Some are my go to classics and some are new and colorful. I’m also mentioning the ones I want to buy or requesting for my birthday. Ha-Ha!
- Kylie Cosmetics Bronze and Peach Extended
- Anastasia Beverly Hills & Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Vol. 1
- Charlotte Tilbury Bejewelled Eyes To Hypnotize
- Artist Couture Caliente Palette
Need To Get ASAP
- Makeup by Mario Neutral Palette
- Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eyeshadow Palette (Queen of Glow and The Vintage Vamp)
Lips:
My favorite part of my look! Mostly because I got my lips done! But these are my beauty favorites for the fall and frankly anytime of year. I love a nude lip, everything once in a while I’ll go for a bold red, but truly I’m a nude classic girl.
Liners
- My absolute favorite – number 1 is Kylie Cosmetics shade “Coconut” I love it!
- Charlotte Tilbury – Pillow Talk Medium and Iconic Nude (WHOA!)
Lipstick
- Now this is a bit hard because, I feel like most of us create lips with like 3 different lip products, so I’m going to share my favorite products to use.
- Charlotte Tilbury Very Victoria – beautiful nude and just got Supermodel to try
- Kylie Cosmetics Matte– Kristen and Kylie Shades (Kristen is my favorite red lip more subtle to me and Kylie is a pinky nude shade)
- Tom Ford Lip Color Sheer in shade Carriacou (currently sold out, but so moisturizing and beautiful pink nude – more pink)
- Zoeva Pure Velour Lips in shade Clear Message – a moisturizing liquid that dry into a matte lip – last all day!
- Huda Beauty Demi Matte in shade Day Slayer (love the formula, takes a couple minutes to dry but last all day and wasn’t drying at all)
- Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in shade Celebrity Skin (must have the formulas are insane so soft, beautiful color and nude)
- Victoria Duke Beauty Yas Queen lip-gloss (these lip-glosses make your lips look so juicy)
Now for brows, I have gotten my brows done so I don’t need to do anything to them except the occasional highlight underneath. Another mention missing from my list is mascara and lashes, also because I get my lashes done so no need. But I will mention the Marc Jacobs mascara is incredible for when I do my lower lashes or need a fill but have an event to go too. I also love these Ardell lashes and place them where I need extra volume before a fill.
These are some of my September beauty favorites of the moment, but honestly can be used anytime. I hope you find something you love, wanted to try or now plan of trying. I love trying new products from brands and feel that is how you find what works best for your skin. Enjoy love and also comment below your beauty favorites so I can shop some more.
XOXO
Karen Giuliana
