Do The Great HydraFacial Benefits Outweigh The Cost?

Hi loves! Today, I’m deep diving into the HydraFacial benefits and if it is worth the cost. I’m super excited to be sharing what I’ve been doing for the past 6 months to truly better my skin. As you all may know, I do struggle with acne. I always have. Sometimes I get the occasional hormonal breakouts but other times, my forehead, chin, and cheeks just breakout. I’ve tried everything from drug store acne products, Proactiv, facials and all lead me to just be frustrated.

I would literally have to never get off Proactiv for it to work or if I missed a week (due to travel) I would breakout horribly the next couple of days. Facials, I loved but hated leaving so red from all the extractions that needed to be done. I would plan my facials on days I was planning on staying in or at the end of the day to avoid seeing people because of my skin.

Not healthy at all. Then I stumbled on HydraFacial and read all about the HydraFacial benefits and knew I wanted to try it, but I will say it was expensive. Some places I saw it priced at $225-$250 a session. I mean I wanted to try it but spending $200 was a bit steep. So, I kept trying my at home routine. I did microneedling to heal some old acne scarring and help my skin create more collagen. I saw progress but slow, slow progress.

Then I found my local esthetician, SP Aesthetics. They’re located in Wellington, FL and their HydraFacial was only $175! It’s still a bit pricey but I felt since it was under $200 it was a deal. My first appointment was in September and I haven’t looked back.

HydraFacial Benefits

There are so many benefits to getting a HydraFacial like: reduce fine line and wrinkles, dark spots, hyperpigmentation, clogged pores, enlarged pores, acne, oily skin, etc. But for me the biggest HydraFacial benefits were for my acne, pigmentation of skin, pores, oily skin, and a smoother looking skin. I truly felt like I could get a facial to get out all the junk and do extractions without leaving me so red and embarrassed to leave my house. My skin has never glowed more and felt as hydrated. Also, my skin isn’t as oily anymore.

By the end of the day, I would desperately need to go to the bathroom and make sure my makeup wasn’t a hot mess and pat down the excess oils from my skin. Not anymore! I truly feel comfortable leaving my house with NO makeup on! (mind-blowing, I know!) Even during the pandemic and wearing masks my skin hasn’t had major breakouts like before. Plus, the HydraFacial benefits are endless because you can add so many add-ons for your specific skin concern. My confidence has never been so high.

Is It Worth The Cost?

Do all the HydraFacial benefits outweigh the costs of getting one monthly? For some, probably not but if you have oily skin and acne, I recommend getting a HydraFacial every 1-2 month and in between sessions get a regular facial to keep your skin clean. Even going one in a while you’ll see an improvement in your skin. For me, I totally see the worth in paying $175. An average facial is probably going to cost you between $80-$120 so why not pay more for a deeper, skin loving clean that leaves you feeling confident the moment you leave the salon.

The proof is in my skin. If my skin can go from ahh to whoa, then yours can too! Plus, I would do your research HydraFacial’s can range from $150-$300 so find someone near you who is closer to your budget but has the actual HydraFacial machine. Try a new place, you never know, it can be your biggest skincare secret.

Skincare Routine

Along with all the HydraFacial benefits, my esthetician uses Zo Skin Health as one of the products during my session and I found their products to work incredibly. I literally use 4 daily products from the line and my skin has definitely improved with the consistent treatments and products. I said I used Proactiv before and I loved it but felt I was dependent on them. With Zo Skin Health, I’ve gone 2 weeks without using any products and my skin didn’t change. (to be fair, I had bronchitis)

I use the Zo Skin Health’s exfoliating cleanser, dual action scrub, oil control pads for acne treatment, and acne control. 4 products and I’m done. My skin isn’t as oily as it would get prior, my acne is under control, and I literally am not dependent on the products. It is a bit on the pricier side but these products last long and work. Plus, a little goes a whole long way! I haven’t even made a dent in my products and I’ve had them since December. Find out which products will work best for you and buy those. You don’t need a whole 7 step regime to get results.

I can’t thank my girls, Leah especially, enough at SP Aesthetics enough for helping me find my confidence back & a skincare regime that works. If you’re local to Wellington, Florida go pay them a visit. You literally WILL NOT regret it. As I’m writing this, I got my 6th HydraFacial with them today and went the whole day running my errands like normal. Something I would not have done before.
