Product Review: Boscia Mermaid Mask And It’s Incredible Fun Results

Hi loves! I’m going to be reviewing the Boscia mermaid mask today. What Is In It?

The ingredients are inspired by cryotherapy that creates a long lasting cooling effect that lifts, plumps and invigorates your skin while prepping it for your skincare routine or makeup.

• Sea Kelp Extract
• Sea Water
• Hyaluronic Acid

Get where the Boscia Mermaid Mask gets its name? Ha-ha! All the ingredients are from the sea except the menthol. The price point is typical for a mask in the Boscia line, it goes for $39.00 a bottle.

How To Use It? 

First, I always recommend to wash your face. A clean surface works the best and allows all the ingredients to ease into your pores and truly brighten your skin. You can use a face wash or just water. The point is to remove any excess oil and dirt quickly. Once you finishing washing your face, you want to pat your skin dry. Now you’re ready to apply the mask.

Be easy while you’re applying. Don’t put the mask on your eyebrows, hairline, lips and eyes. Once the Boscia mermaid mask is applied, wait for about 20-25 minutes or until the mask is completely dry. After you see the mask is dry, gently peel off the mask from the outer edges first. It’s a bit rough when you take off the mask and it can feel a bit weird. Especially if it’s your first time.

It shouldn’t hurt however, if it does just grab warm water and wipe the mask off. Don’t pull your skin and hurt yourself. After you’ve remove the mask simply rinse off any remain residue with warm water and bam. Brighter, smoother skin.

My Thoughts

When I tried the Boscia Mermaid Mask I was surprisingly shocked. It was so refreshing and cool on my face. I loved the tingling sensation you get from the cryotherapy ingredients. My skin felt tighter as the mask harden and the look of the mask was super cool. It was literally holographic, which added a fun element to wearing the mask.

It was cool to see how mermaid-like you can look. Nice feature, Boscia! Once the mask was hard enough, which was about 25-30 minutes, it was actually an easy peel off. My skin never felt like it was being pulled on. After the mask, my skin felt so smooth and bright. 

Benefits

During the night, your skin cells do regenerate at a faster pace where collagen is boosted and cell damage is rectified. Also at night your skin is more receptive to active ingredients. Meaning the Boscia Mermaid mask ingredients that help plump, lift and tighten your skin will perform at a better rate than applying the mask in the morning. Last night my skin felt so alive and tighten.

It also helps promote blood circulation to depuff, brighten and refresh your skin. I would recommend the mask to use for a simple routine at night. I would even use this as a mask if you naturally don’t wear a ton of makeup or really don’t have a beauty night regime. It’s a great start to get your skin feeling smooth, tighter and brighter.

I would use the mask once a week, and I prefer Sundays as an end to the week for me. It a nice way to kick start my skin for the new week. It’s worth the money because the bottle itself is a good size. I do want to say I did receive the product for free, but I would buy it again to use.
