Hi Loves! Today I’ll be reviewing pond’s Cleansing balm. The worst thing about wearing makeup is taking it off before you go to bed. But it’s the most IMPORTANT! Why? Because you don’t want to have your pores soak in all that makeup during sleep. It can lead to acne, wrinkles, and unhealthy skin. Nothing we woman want. Sleep is so important because it is when your skin naturally regenerates itself. Having makeup on prevents that process.

I used to use Neutrogena’s makeup removing wipes, but then would have to wash my face because it was leave an oily feeling on my skin after. When I would wash my face, I would realize makeup would still on my face and now on my towel. ANNOYING! Then do my normal nighttime routine with a different towel. It became such a process.

What was the point of removing my makeup with the wipes if it wouldn’t remove it all? It would also leave my skin feeling oily and like a need to wash my face again. I actually stopped using them daily. This made taking off my makeup a one step process. Before, I would take my makeup off with like two wipes, then have to wash my face with a cleanser and see makeup still on my towel. Now, I just use Pond’s cleansing balm, warm water and clean. Then off to bed for my skin to do it’s magic.

A huge thank you to Influenster and Pond’s for giving the opportunity to try out this new product before the public. It was a complimentary gift and used for testing purposes, but my review is completely my opinion. There is a commissionable link below, but there’s no extra cost to you. You can read more in my legal page.

Pond’s Cleansing Balm

I was actually excited to try their cleansing balm. Why?  Because, I needed a new way to remove makeup off my face besides the wipes. I was also looking for something easy and quick. It’s a new revolutionary way to clean your skin. The product is about 3.5oz and you literally only use about 2 pea size amounts on your face each time.

What is the Actual Product?

It is a unique blend of oils and cleansing essence pressed into a solid balm. Then you massage the balm onto your skin, and it transforms into a silky oil. This oil melts away your makeup and removes impurities. Then you just simply rinse it all away with warm water leaving your face feeling clean, soft and radiant. No harsh scrubbing or tugging involved. Literally I just used my hands.

Difference between Makeup Removing Wipes

  • After rinsing, I noticed no makeup stains on my towel.
  • Doesn’t sting your eyes, very safe.
  • Doesn’t leave skin feeling sticky and needing a wash.
  • Actually removes makeup compared to wipes.
  • More cost efficient and last longer.

There, to me, are many pros to this formula. I love just coming home and putting this balm on and cleaning my face. I feel refreshed and clean. FYI: You’ll literally see the makeup melt so eyeliner, mascara, foundation sliding off your face to totally good. It did leave my skin feeling refreshed and helped aid in my nighttime routine.

Review Warp-Up

I’m a true fan of Pond’s Cleansing Balm and can’t wait for everyone to try it. If you go directly to Ponds website, you can buy this amazing product there from Walmart as well. The best part is that it’s actually cheaper than most makeup removing wipes. It’s $9.99 at target and the bottle lasts longer than the wipes.
